Social equality crisis
The healthcare crisis in Ireland continues to be a significant political issue. I with a background of healthcare, know what works and what doesn’t. I will bring a practical, evidence-based approach to policymaking to resolve long waiting list, reducing the medical cost, accessible healthcare especially for elderly, vulnerable and those in rural areas. Prevention is better than cure, early detection of disease is key to more effective treatment and to maintain overall health. Can we achieve this by waiting to see healthcare professionals for months or years?
Its high time we recognise the growing mental health crisis in Ireland. I’ll be dedicated in expanding mental health service and support network, ensuring that those need can access timely and effective care without stigma or delay.
Severe housing crisis, shortage of affordable homes, skyrocketing rents, lack of student accommodations and growing homelessness have been political issues for last number of years. Poor infrastructure, inadequate public transport have been discussed repeatedly. It’s now time to act on solving these issues. Building more homes will not solve the crisis, we need to solve the root cause of these problems. I will have strong voice and will ensure to solve these crisis.
Ireland is grappling with a social equality and justice crisis, marked by disparities in income, access to services, and opportunities. Marginalized groups, including those in lowerincome brackets, ethnic minorities, and people with disabilities, face systemic barriers to education, healthcare, and employment. Gender inequality, unequal pay, and racial discrimination remain persistent issues. I’ll ensure to tackle these inequalities to make sure comprehensive reforms is in place to promote fairness, protect vulnerable groups, and ensure equal rights and opportunities for all citizens.
